Anybody figure it out? I've tried it in Hanoi; not too bad.....one side of the bus stop sign lists the general destination, the other seems to list the general roads taken.

Am I reading the bus signs correctly??

I got lost a couple times, gave up, "xe-om"-ed it back.

What about HCMC? Is there any route map?

I don't think there is a bus route map written in English.

Take the "xe oms" in HCMC.
The traffic there is horrible!
I usually ask for a business card wherever I go so I can show the address to the drivers.

Yeah, I usually drive myself around HCMC. Xe om drivers can be maniacs, or drive like foreigners (terrible), but it's kinda hard when you're carrying stuff. If I have to, I'd just rather take a taxi these days.

The bus schedules not being in English is not really a problem, is it, since we have almost the same alphabet.

But is it true that the reverse side gives the streets where the bus is going??
