I've worked for their unprofessional subsidiary, SDT, and I've dealt with BAE directly. I know what I'm talking about, thank you very much.

There are so many more FACTS than those you chose to include.

Back to KFU again. It seems now that all new personnel are going to be hired on a one year visa.

EEEEK

It is now Aug. 5 and 40 teachers will have to be in place by Oct. 2009 with one year visas?

OK. Let's just use the good old "Inshallah" here. It seems to work well for almost anything or maybe even everything.

I can give them one of my monkeys to help them type out the visa forms if they want.

Regards.

FACT:- The salary is currently something around 22250 SR a year - plus free accommodation, food, clothes, transport to work and three tranches of 5000 SR to pay for tickets home.

Could you clarify this figure?
Who does recruiting for BAE?

The white, working class racist trash here once more to waste our time with how much money they think they earn.
BAE is a red herring, it's a joke, it's a bunch of people who have never had much and now feel compelled to tell the entire world about it.
Listen, no one on this thread is likely to be razzle dazzled by a BAE salary. There are people here with serious work to do- and they are sick and tired with important threads being sidetracked by white working class men with racist attitudes (who are correspondingly unemployable in their own society)- wasting everyone's time with how much money they've got. Guys, it's actually not that great. You will get more in Aramco, or simply working for any half decent university and then doing private work on the sly. The difference is, KFUPM teachers, like most others, aren't so crass and socially disadvantaged as BAE teachers, nor do they share their racist attitudes. Of course, you take an RAF dog handler or racist Brit UK worker, fly him to Saudi, make him feel that some of the neo colonialist polish rubs off on him and voila, from unemployed farting pub lizard- to bastion of the neo colonialist establishment. It's an illusion. It's an illusion made worse by the inevitable propensity to chatter endlessly about how much money they are getting. Well it's a lot, for fomer RAF riff raff and taxi drivers. This is quinissential Brit schit.
It's crass, it's tawdry, it's tacky and I ask, is it a reflection of BAE or a reflection of the poor social circumstances of BAE teachers. Why do they keep talking about money? SR 22,000 is not that good, it is good, for teaching, but only the white racist working class deadheads of BAE would ever rave on about it- in such a mind numbingly boring way.
Can we get over the fact that you guys have jobs that pay a salary enough for you to buy a one room terraced hovel in Rochdale?
Jesus.
So much time has been wasted on these guys over the years and they're nothing more than a crew of incompetent, racist, white drifters marooned forevermore between Bankok and KSA.
BAE has no place on this kind of thread.

12 Monkeys finds it remarkable that the supposed new subcontrcator/agent for King Faisal University, Hofuf, will be offering one-year visas procured via "urgent avenues" (read wasta).

Am I correct to surmise that the previous subcontractor, Shabakah Training Establishment, recruited more than twenty foreign teachers using the 3-month business visa scam?

Well Markeman you certainly like to use the word "racist"

Tell me, how do you feel about the BAE teachers who aren't British, aren't necessarily working class, and maybe even not necessarily white. . .????

And what pray tell, is wrong with coming from a working class background??

BAE are a very generous employer. Perhaps they understand that "good pay" is a wonderful inducement for keeping loyal employees irrespective of their nationality, pre-BAE financial status, their family heritage and so on.

I am under the impression they are the best military employer in the Gulf - by far. You hate BAE because of their generous pay . . . but all of the American military contractors seem to be perfectly ok in your book . . .with their lower offers of the company exchequer . . .

Perhaps you object to western militarism, but in my opinion - if western military companies weren't in the Gulf States - somebody else most certainly would be - the Russians, the Chinese . . . To be sure my opinion is somewhat "prejudiced" because I lived for many years within 25 miles of the South Korean - North Korean border - who knows, maybe the working class members of the North Korean People's Army - armaments division - or the various Chinese army armaments companies - are much "nicer", much less "snobbish" presumably because they don't receive BAE salaries.

I am very curious about your background Mr. Markeman. Are you a highly educated member of the British upper classes??

I am very interested in what induces you to make such stunning generalizations about the British "working class" members of BAE??

I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist but with all due respect, your hatred seems to border on clinical / pathological . . . or do I merely "misunderstand" . . .????

I am Canadian Mr. Markeman. What pray tell, is your opinion of my people and my country???

Cyclist, you're choking up the thread. You mentioned BAE, you got the salary in there, if you've got nothing positive to add, please move along.
You're a troll. Scram.
