Soon me and my wife will be moving to Madrid and we'll be on a combined income of 3000-3500 euros a month. Bearing in mind we have to pay rent plus fund 2 children's education, will this be enough to survive on?
Thanks for any help. |

I'd say "yes" though I think a lot will depend on where you plan to send your children to school. We had our daughter in a private school in Madrid (so that she could receive instruction in both Spanish and English) and that cost about 750 euros a month. There are other places that charge more.
Of course, you don't have to go this route, in which case 3,500 should be enough to cover your monthly expenses once you get things set up (find & furnish your apartment, pay deposit, etc). |

I think it's going to be tight, then. |
