I'm pretty sure if I start looking around December or January I'll find a job for an after Chinese New Year start. Should I wait for that, or are you of the opinion one could find a job to start in November or December?

ps: I've tried the search function, no luck.

Depends on what you are looking for.

For universities, they will start late November, early December for the second semester. That being said, if the school is reputable, not many teachers will be leaving mid-semester so it will be much harder to find!

Most international schools will start looking in December-January for the follow school year (start in August/September).

Private schools/training center will hire year round, so it doesn't matter when you apply.
