In a good month, about half of what you expect to pull regularly at a better place! |

Your generous offer of help is only surpassed by your cuteness. C'mon, dig deep and come up with something useful. I know that in your heart of hearts you WANT to help.
Which are the better places? What quals do you need to get the twice as much you described? What part of the word "newbie" don't you understand? Etc. |

Oh dear you people really are green, are'nt you?
Ok, if you decide to work at a "language school" you are going to be paid by the hour, so the person who allocates you the teaching time is very much in control of your earning, which means in plain language, not a lot. They will of course talk about minimum earnings, however it will not give you a chance to enjoy a decent lifestyle. Regard the position as a starting point, look for other places to earn more or where at least you are not hampered with rent payments. I would regard an average salary of between 1500-2200 tl to be pretty much a ball park figure. Most people I know who work outside those type of establishments can virtually double that on less than 25 hours a week.
Is that cute enough? |

well for a 100 hour month of classroom time, at say 25 ytl/hr, we get 2500 ytl/month salary. that is now about $1,700 US. That seems outrageously amazing to me given that Korea is considered the highest paying place (outside of the Gulf, say) and a beginners korean salary is only about $100 US more than that per month.
2500 ytl per month?? seems really really really great and Im going tomorrow. |
