sorry for the vagueness....

CfBT couples breakfast out together when kids are at school on Fri morn and CfBT teachers are at home.

JIS and ISB teachers work same days (and have same holidays) as kids.

Thanks very much for clarifying that. I've been told that EFL-qualifieds can get p/t work with CfBT, the international schools and the university. Is this true? Even if its only a few hours, it'd be better than nothing, but what would the minimum pay be?

Also, would the institution then sort out work permits etc. or is it all under the radar?

And finally - could EFL-qualifieds work in Sarawak and commute from Brunei, from BSB?

Thanks everyone for your answers - I'm overwhelmed and encouraged (to hit Brunei) by how helpful you lot are! Cool

Yes it is true, there is work out there (in Bandar) for those who are determined to have some...for true perserverance read gajackson's thread....more stamina than I would have!

Sometimes it falls into your lap too, once you meet someone....

Miri, Sarawak is a good two hour drive across the border and if you were to get a job there, you would not be able to do a daily commute...border opens at 6.00am I think....means leaving 4am....school starts 7.30 am....??

Maybe a weekly commute...(perhaps at Curtin university?)...but hardly conducive to quality family lifestyle.

In Limbang, Sarawak ....nothing. A very small country village/town
