Call me a *beep*, but I think censorship should be non-exsistant. I am a firm believer of open speach. If someone wants to refer to something in a strong way and hasn't good the energy to condure up fancy a$$ words, can't we just say feck it?.

Dear L.A. - or beep,
Hope you get your website up soon. When you do, it'll be interesting to see whether or not you maintain the same attitude. Being a web site owner/ manager/whatever might - or might not - give you a different perspective on the advantages/disadvantages of "non-existent censorship" and "open speech".
Regards,
John

As I argued in my (now deleted) "The *beep* beep machine" thread, the argument against censorship wasn't about the inconvenience of not being able to use explitives (as there are ways around it if we really feel the need), it was more the general principle of us not being treated like adults.

Ironically, deleting the thread criticising the beep machine was just childish Rolling Eyes.

Dear leeroy,
Uh, I hesitate to mention this (it's surely flame-bait), but as it seems you haven't noticed, there are a very few posters here whose posts belie their alleged adulthood.
Regards,
John
