				| Hi everybody. I've been lurking for a little while but finally decided to post. I graduated from university in the US in May with a degree in finance, and due to the way the banking/investments industry is right now I still don't have a job. So, I decided to go back to graduate school in fall 2010, but I need something to do until then.
I speak Japanese so I started looking into teaching English there, but most schools in Japan are looking for somebody to work at least a year. I can't do this because I'll be starting graduate school in August 2010. With that, I've become open to teaching anywhere (preferably Asia) as long as I can find a contract that will end at the latest by the end of June 2010.

Just looking for suggestions on where to look for contracts less than a year, or ways of going about negotiating with companies to get shorter contracts, etc. Any help is welcome, thanks

				| YOu cuold find short term contracts that last six months. they're not that common, but they're out there. Or, you could send your
About Japan, I've heard that there is a place, Westgate that will give you short contracts.
CHina and Korea are also options.

				| Yes, I think Aston offer contracts in China of differing lengths. Not that I know anything of how good such contracts are. | |

Doubtful he fits their qualifications. Give it a shot, though. Teaching such short-term periods is hardly worth the effort, IMO. You will barely break even in terms of setup costs here in Japan, for one.

				| I will have to say this about westgate. Although they're flexible in somethings. I was told that my husband wouldn't be allowed to live with me because he wasn't working for them. First time I've ever been told that. | |

				| You are young. You are not on wall street,. the contracts on wall street were not worth the paper they were written on!!
Think like a young person who is not in skool!! Rip up that contract in youre head--Think outside the box. You can git work in Burma or Cambodia or somewhere halfway interesting like Mongolia, but dear god not korea!! Just my humbles. Godspeed.
