I have a not so much teaching related question, is anyone informed enough (ideally by personal experience, not hear-say) whether it is at this point in time possible to register old cars as long as they pass the inspection? I am looking for an old Wrangler ideally already registered in Abu Dhabi, but I am unsure whether there are limits on car age or not.
I would appreciate your advise on this (and a PM if you are selling an old Wrangler registered in Abu Dhabi or know someone who does) |

In a similar vein, can anyone also answer whether there is an age limit on importing a car into the UAE? For example any car older than 5 years cannot be imported into Qatar, same for UAE? |

thanx hurricane, very useful and informative articles! Looks like the regulations have been put on hold for now, any word on when the govt might enforce them?
Also, any idea whether an SUV (2004 Pajero GLS 5-door) would be considered a light or heavy vehicle? (I suspect light...)
cheers! |
