Hello,
Anyone know of any deals/websites or cheap ways to get from Mexico to the UK?
Avoiding the USA would be better (for a Mexican National)

Any input would be great!! Smile

Speaking as the husband of a travel agent, I have to tell you that "cheap" isn't really possible. I've heard of some people taking extremely complicated routes to get there, but these usually involve going through the US. It's a choice between taking one of the European airlines (Lufthansa, KLM, British Airways or AirFrance) through their respective home cities or Mexicana direct to London, which may be a few pesos cheaper. Also, Mexicana and AeroMexico cover, between them, Rome, Madrid, Paris and Barcelona and you might find a deal from one of those cities, but I doubt it would be cheaper overall.

By coincidence, we are are off to London tomorrow with Mexicana - but we picked up a 2X1 deal back in February when they inaugurated the route.

You could also take Iberia, Mex City - Madrid and then on to London, or buy a ticket to Madrid and get a cheapo flight to London with Easyjet or the like, something I did once, bit of hassle though. And if you know anyone who works for British Airways, look into the Friends and Family scheme. My parents did that last Christmas and they saved a whopping 40% on their ticket, it was fairly straightforward and definitely worth it.

Have a good flight Phil, hopefully you'll be reading about Leeds having knocked the scousers out of the league cup when you arrive Laughing

My couple flys to London all the time for work. We have found that KLM is the cheapest and they have very good service. If you don't mind stopping off in Amsterdam for an hour or so. B.A. seems to be almost double most the time, not sure why. Good Luck
