| Some job offers say you must already have this to apply for the job. What is it exactly? If you have a temp.work contract /visa with one employer, can you use it for a different employer or must you apply all over again? |

Firstly, all contract are temporary - in teachers' cases they are rarely for more than one year at a time. As to your other question, it is possible to transfer sponsorship from one employer to another. However, it can be a long, tedious process - during which you cannot leave the country - and it also requires the active cooperation of your first employer. So, if you are leaving on bad terms (for whatever reason) it is unlikely they will go out of their way to assist you in transferring to another employer within the Kingdom.
The other option is to leave Saudi Arabia on an exit only visa, and reapply for a new visa in your own country. However, even in this case you will need the good will of your first employer, as the embassy will require a "Letter of No Objection" in order to process your new visa. Which is a whole other discussion... |
