|
|
I am going to Riyadh soon and was wondering what if any Cable TV channels I can get. I read somewhere Showtime was available.
Also I am working on a Masters Degree online starting in January, but I understand internet access is blocked in many cases. Would I be able to access a University Blackboard? Would this be possible at an internet cafe if my internet went down at home? Assignments are due weekly so I would need a reliable backup plan for any outages.
Any information would help.
Also are there any groups of Expats that get together in Riyadh? |

Can't see any reason why you couldn't access the university site. You can get round the blocking using circumventors anyway. |

1) You can get literally thousands of channels (in total) offered by tens of providers.
2) University Blackboard... why would that be blocked? Your internet study/assignments is something you don't have to worry about.
3) Yes, many many groups, of many nationalities. I don't know any personally as I don't live there. Look it up on google. |

Thanks. I was doing some research looks like you can get Premier League football and Showtime movies. Does anyone know what the cost might be for this stuff?
Any suggestions on an internet providor? |
