Actually if you're talking about a modern dairy farm, a fair amount of it would be puss. |

Google 'mastitis'. And more importantly, google 'recombinant bovine growth hormone (rbGH)', a Monsanto nasty that increases the chance of mastitis by 25%. In the USA, you'll be pleased to know, they actually have limits as to how much pus a bulk tank of milk can contain. |

Dear Stephen,
I googled - YIKES! Guess I'll stick to water.
Hmm, or maybe not:
"According to recent news and reports, most tap and well water in the U.S. are not safe for drinking due to heavy industrial and environmental pollution. Toxic bacteria, chemicals and heavy metals routinely penetrate and pollute our natural water sources making people sick while exposing them to long term health."
Now I know 007 would advise camel's milk, but hard though it may be to believe, there seems to be a shortage of camels in Santa Fe.
So, I guess I'll just die of thirst, instead.
Regards,
Parched John |

| You can test the well water. You should do it every six months. Tap water normally has enough chemicals in it to kill anything living so it's safe, if not exactly appetising. |

Why? Did not Uncle Sam built desalination plant at Tampa Bay, Florida?
Well, I think Uncle Sam instead of building nuclear missiles plants next to the border of Russia, he should build nuclear power plants in Santa Fe and Santa Maria to desalinate the sea water so that John, Teta VS, and NCTBA do not die from thirst or polluted water!
C'mon NCTBA, don't tell me that you drink mineral water in America! |

You one-meal-a-day eaters, don't you get hungry during the day? What about when you wake up?
I am starving in the morning, and without a breakfast, can't function due to the hunger pangs in my stomach. I usually have a large healthy filling breakfast (porridge made from scratch, fruit, dairy, tea) which keeps me going for 3-5 hours.
The rest of my meals are small in size, but frequent. About 1 to 2 small to medium meals, plus a few snacks (nuts, cheese, fruit, etc) throughout the day. |

it would have to be some amount, kinda like the allowed rodent and rodent excrement parts in processed meats and foods, but HOPEFULLY ppm! or in this case, ppg!
what a visual. i'm afraid to google your references, but i know i will...

For breakfast I might have an apple after I've been up a couple hours, but I don't consider that a "meal." I start with my cup of tea. Most of us that eat like this are rather 'grazers.' With my afternoon tea, I might have one biscuit/cookie. Instead of an evening meal, I might have a small handful of nuts... almonds or cashews or walnuts or whatever. And that one meal is a very small meal by American terms.
And no... I'm not really a health nut at all... I grew up in farm country and I won't spend even a minute worrying about what might be in meat or milk. There is a reason why the healthiest kids are the ones that grew/grow up on farms. It was because they grew up with all kinds of bugs and virus and bacteria... not hand sanitizers.

Dear trap,
Nope, don't get hungry. Maybe I did at first, way back when I started decades ago. The body adjusts.
I'm NEVER at all hungry in the morning.
Dear leez,
With your new avatar, are you copying trap - or just mocking him?

Hi Mr Trap,
In my experience, the more you eat, the more your stomach expands to expect more. I can't eat anything in the mornings ... just have my cup of coffee to kickstart the day. No lunch - usually teaching and no time. A couple of rice crackers or something similar when I get home mid-afternoon. Dinner in the evening (wrong time of day for the 'main meal', I know ).
As johnslat says, your body adjusts ... if you want it to. I'm pushing 60, and if I ate the amounts that I ate when I was younger, I'd be double the size I am now, which is the same size I was when I was 25.
Like VS, I don't really worry too much about what I'm eating - though I do avoid certain chemical additives and excessive sugar, salt and fat. |

No need to worry Saharastars... there are so many poisonous chemicals all around us... in the air we breathe... you'll just give yourself ulcers. This is the time your baby needs to be kickstarting her immune system. Over-protection is as dangerous as no protection...

Presuming that the milk is organic milk, and that they haven't just repackaged normal milk (there was a guy in the UK who ran a multi-million dollar organic food business, much of which consisted of buying pork pies from Tescos, putting their label on it, and selling it on to top class food retailers such as Fortnum and Mason.), then it won't have rbGH which will lessen the chance of mastitis, and the cow might be kept in less crowded conditions which would also be better for its health.
As Breatharinism is not an option, then you are obliged to take risks when you feed yourself. Want me to tell you all about the risks of soy milk? |
