Hi guys, I recently applied for a job as a ESL teacher through one of the links provided on the International Boards at Dave's very own ESL cafe, and got lead to this link: http://www.eslcafe.com/joblist/index.cgi?read=20176

I applied, then got this email this morning detailing the job. Sounds slightly different to me, as this seems to indicate I'd be teaching Maths and "computers" for 14 hours a week, even though it says from 7.50-16.30. I'm very confused. Can anyone make sense of this and has anyone heard of or worked for "The Language" before? They have a website and that seems reasonably genuine, but you can never tell, right? Also being a complete noob, I don't want to get completely swindled, so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

POSITION 9: This is an exciting new project which is entering its second year. It is Multi Language Program consisting of four classes, with 30 students in each class, studying Thai, Chinese and English. The English part of the MLP consists of teaching English, drama, math, science and computers at Grade 7 level.

The position requires the successful applicant to be at school from 7.50am 16.30 teaching 14 hours per week. The hours are broken down as follows; 12hrs math,2 hours for computers. Teaching four classes 3 hours each, so you would repeat the lesson plans again. There is also a clinic section which is a Student support class which the teacher would ask weak students to come to review on a more personal basis.

This is the school in Surrithani right? I've noticed they seem to advertise quite regularly here on Daves which make me a little suspicious. The salary of 23,000 baht per month is terrible too. Their website looks either comprehensive or attractive depending on your POV.
