Dear woza17
"Angel Heart" - now that's one weird movie. Robert De Niro as "Louis Cyphre" is awesome.
Regards,
John

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Keaneu Reeves...I mean, he's not a rocket scientist but he does look good even with a tube sticking out of his neck and wearing a weird futuristic potato sack.

Although now that I think of it, Patrick Stewart could probably pull that off, too...

I've never understood the whole "Keanu Reeves is a babe" thing. Is he??? I, for one, don't think so. But then, maybe my lack of appreciation is affected by his crappy acting.

I mentioned Keanu (I think). I meant to anyways. Very Happy
I like him from his Bill and Ted days, when he seems so young and helpless, like he couldn't even walk accross the street on his own. Ha Ha ha Maybe that's just my mothering instinct talking.
But when he's "real" acting, no way. Too fake, too terrible, but "hunky" and that's good. Twisted Evil

I think Keanu has a certain special je ne sais quoi.... at least until he opens his mouth or moves. That just ruins the whole effect. He's not my type though as I prefer men who can open their mouths and move without destroying all credibility.

Ok, admittedly, I'm a heterosexual guy, but I think he's kind of cute. I agree he's not the best actor in the world, but you realize that doesn't mean he's dumb in real life, right? Very Happy

For all I know he spends his free time in a lab attempting to solve faster than light travel. It is interesting that the good actors, like Patrick Steward and Kevin Spacey, are seen as sexier, while the mediocre actors, like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, are seen as blank spots. Is that because being good at their craft makes them seem more intelligent? Or is being good at something just sexier? I admit that I find good actresses sexier than bad actresses, although this thread isn't about me, is it? Very Happy

Hunky? Does slightly effeminate count as "hunky"?

I, too, find all that "What women want" nonsense really patronizing and irritating. I mean, are we supposed to believe that all women are the same?

BTW, Keanu is nice, albeit dim.
