Well, Uncle Scott, don't you know that horse meat is more expensive than beef or chicken, only rich people can afford horse meat in the Magic Kingdom!
BTW, Uncle Scott, do the vegan ride horses? |

Re: DQ stables insurance.
I doubt it's very comprehensive. We're relying on proper hats, BUPA and a degree of caution. All the (what's the proper word?) 'rinks' / 'arenas' are sandy and I'm comfortable for my small daughter to be trotting there, at least.
The office number is 481 2200. You may need to persuade DQ police to let you in, especially if it's the weekend, but if you look western it shouldn't be a problem. And you need a driver who knows where to find the stables or a good GPS since the access road is hidden away behind a street of houses. |

You are right! Where I come from, we usually say, 'riding arena' and not too many people will say 'rink' anymore. However, at the Class A shows, we call it a 'ring.' We also have roundpens too but they have to be in a complete circle. I like to use the roundpens for training and lessons, especially the ones with high walls so the horse cannot see out and we can concentrate better. |
