Hi
I've got the CELTA, DELTA and an MA in ELT plus some DOS experience and would really like to set myself up as an autonomo in Valencia. I don't really want to teach kids so would like to know if it is possible to make a liveable wage teaching privates there. I know there are plently of jobs in Madrid but would prefer Val.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. |

Hey,
Just read your post and realise that you've prbably, if you decided to make the move, already moved to Valencia... if so and you've successfuly set yourself up there as an ESL teacher, any tips or advice would be really appreciated!
sorry..not the response to a question that you hoped for

I worked there from 1999 til 2000. Back then, no prob finding work.
I worked for an academy--which sent me out to teach at the big HQ of Mercadona. Had fun. I also got a private contract with Universidad la Florida.
I dunno about autonomo now.
