I am looking for pictures I can use with my private student. What I need specifically are sequences of pictures which the students can use to describe processes (Eg. getting ready in the morning, shopping, etc), and others with a lot happening, which can be used as the basis of discussion, questions and speculation. (Eg. describing what people are doing, the location, etc).
I have found a few odd ones here and there, but does anyone know of a website with a good bank of pictures specifically for ESL?
Many thanks. |

| I have a photocopy of a book that specifically does daily situations (like doing dishes, brushing teeth, going to the doctor etc) where each situation is represented by a comic strip without words. I'm back in Canada and use it for my volunteering but if no one else can help I'll see if I can find it after work today and let you know what it's called. |

| I use mes-english.net. The guy has a huge bank of free flashcards and games. Its aimed at children but I've used some with adult students in the past. The site has an excellent set for daily routine, printable as A4 or A5 size with also a worksheet which has all the pictures. I print these, cut them up and make small, hand size flashcards which I then laminate. |

Hi guys,
Thanks a lot for your help. Cornishmuppet - the site looks good, thanks for the recommendation. Good for vocab introduction too.
Any other ideas would still be appreciated though! |
