I will in next months have a CELTA or TESOL certificate. I have all my course requirements done for a BSFS from School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University (Cl of '6 but because of an incomplete on language fluency requirement I do not have a degree. I do have 40 years of experience teaching over 15,000 execs at Fortune 500 corporations. I am told I MUST have a degree to teach in China (my first choice). Are there countries that offer good opportunities for an accomplished teacher who does not have a degree? I may do my CELTA in Budapest. Is that a possible country for a non degreed teacher? |

China bends rules. Some provinces, especially more rural ones, will be more flexible about the no degree thingy. Just be up front and don't lie about it.
You 're just missing the langauge fluency? can't you take a couple of courses for that and get yoru degree?
Hungary might be possible, but there you will run into visa issues, if you're American. |

I agree. Finish the lousy incomplete. Can't take much, can it? With that out of the way, you'd have so much more open to you. |
