Dear NCTBA,
OMG - another person happy (or content, at least) with his lot in the Kingdom.
The proper authorities had better move fast to stamp this out before it spreads.

Working across the runway from the academy, ya shoulda heard the BAe employees talking about the employees at the academy and their comfy lifestyle and work requirements. They were SO envious!
The only downside that I could see was that the academy taught those hot-shot fighter pilots (something that I'd done before). I prefered the slow-going AWACS crews that didn't have all the swagger and the need to prove themselves as the fastest and the bestest on a daily basis.

Dear NCTBA,
Old saying (from the USMC):
You can always tell a fighter pilot - but you can't tell them much.
I still recall with pleasure the arrogant and abusive fighter pilot at Chu Lai who, upon doing his pre-flight inspection, discovered a monkey wrench in the jet intake.
A note was attached:
"You found THIS one."
My, talk about an attitude adjustment.
Regards,
John

| The Saudi military, including the Air Force, is primarily for show. Don't expect many of the students at King Faisal Academy to be very bright. The curriculum is dumbed-down. The academy is hardly a tertiary school. It is, at best, a junior high school. |
