Hi guys,

This is my second month here in Dalian after completing my TESOL certificate in Canada. I've sent out my application to a bunch of schools in all over China ... but only a few have replied but eventually said that the opportunity had been filled. I have a bachelor's degree, TESOL certificate, and a Canadian passport ...

Currently tutoring a few jr high schoolers conversation english ... no other teaching experience ...

Thanks for any info

Go to EF Dalian, they hire CBC's. Also try EF Dongying. Not the best, but you can try them.

Give me shout if you need a hand, I live a couple hours away...

That's alright. I actually got pretty far with that school, but at the end, they said that I was too young to stand in front of a bunch of senior high school students and teach. True though ...

Thanks anyway

you could look in the jobs section of http://www.dalianxpat.com

although I've noticed that in the past couple of months most of the ads are from recruiters and are for regions other than Dalian.

NOT a good time of year to get full-time work!
