Does HCT have any non-white EFL instructors? Anyone who works there or has worked there, can you provide me with some feedback. I am just very curious to know if, when referring to ethnicity, are there any Asians, 'African-Americans', Latinos, Arabs etc, etc from English-speaking countries who are English instructors with HCT. Just curious. I am not trying to start a heated debate on race and HCT and their hiring practices, so please don't turn this thread into that. But if you want to, then go ahead. And if they were or are with HCT, how is their experience? Feel free to PM. Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, HCT hires lots of people of different ethnic and racial backgrounds. Not sure about the % of Latinos though...

There are many things that one can criticize HCT for, but they hire by credentials and experience, not by race, religion, or passport.

The fact that most EFL teachers are pale faced Westerners is due to our being a majority of the applicants that meet their requirements.

The HCT does not discriminate based on colour or ethnicity of the qualified applicant. They also promote those whom long-time residents of the ME would be surprised at learning of. You got the creds, experience and temperment, as far as I can observe, the sky's the limit.
