Post is 6 years old and shouldn't be in the job related area. Jobs and dating? If you want, but most of us know better.

And as for all this "Chinese girls don't like to say 'I love you' so if they do they are lying' - what a crock of shite. Who decided on that particular stereotype? I see next to nothing different between my wife and my old western girlfriends. She's caring, funny, a bit of a cow at times, and we have loads in common. Basis of a good marriage as I see it. But then maybe I have just been lucky. Or am not as stupid as some others.

Or maybe you wife is more skilled than the other girls. Who knows?

I'm new to the Cafe and I was just kind of checking out a little bit of everything and saw an old post (p 155, I think it was) and thought it was an interesting topic for expats. I see so many posts where people say that "these people are like this and those people are like that" regarding teaching and interacting with foreigners.

Dont tell me you really scrolled through 150+ pages of threads????? My friend, you definately have too much time on your hands!

Threads of this nature used to surface quite a lot ... I always find them amusing to read, and often a little bizarre!

Actually, no, I didn't go through every page. At the bottom of long threads you will see 1,2,3....155,156. I just punched a number and took my chances. I'd LIKE to have that much free time, but I think I could use it more constructively.

But can we have some updates from the posters from 6 years ago?

Does anyone know what happened to them?

Also, is there a way of moving the thread to non-job related if that's important?

The rules say that all non-job related posts will be deleted by the administrators, but this one has slipped through the cracks for the last six years.
