In general if you are getting a PhD in a content course, you may want to stick with the "higher tier" schools in the UAE (ZU, PI, UoS, UAEU) as your PhD will come in handy there.
Yet, many folks come to HCT because they have 16 schools all over the emirates, and contracts do end. Use HCT to get the foot in the door, and get the gulf experience. Finish the piled higher and deeper degree, then move on to a better position. |

| Ruwais is a pit stop. It's a small community of mainly recently settled bedouin who are very unsophisticated. The expat community is not very big. It's a long haul drive to Abu Dhabi. The best thing about it is the unspoiled beaches. There is very little to do so a lot of people have drink problems. It's not really idea unless you're into small town living preferably with a family I reckon. |
