Hi,
I'm an EFL teacher interested in teaching in Nevsehir or Kayseri. If anyone of you know of any schools in that area, please PM me.
Thanks. |

I recommend TED Kolej, Kayseri. It's a great school, and especially so if you teach in the Licee section for the high academic standard students.
Ghost in Saudi. |

| Actually, it's 'lise'. I taught there, as ghost may recall, but I can't say the academic standards were that high. I'd work there again happily, but, really...not high academic standards. |

Note: I think ghost may be thinking of the scholarship kids who were in the hazirlik program. After I left, from what I understand, they started phasing that out. Entry requirements got lower and lower in an attempt to attract students in a city where they were no longer the only private kolej. My two year nine classes were quite low level, and even my year 11 group that was in the dedicated English stream were about half-slackers, half diligent.
I think they still hire foreign teachers, but the last I heard, they were only taking one a year, down from 4 when I was there, and that one teacher gets spread thin between the primary, middle, and high schools.
It's a nice school to work for though. |
