Yes, I have seen this on the news here in the UK this, and remember it popping up sporadically on the local news over time (I live near Leeds). While I don't know the finer details of the case, it's difficult to know who to feel sadder for - for the girl herself, or for her father.
If you are ever in the area, Ilkley Moor and the Cow and Calf rocks are a great spot for a walk. I spent many days out there with my grandparents when I was younger.
I'm a regular reader of PE - what kind of difficulty do you have in getting it mailed over, given the attention it gave the BAe/Al Saud corruption scandal? |

Not sure about getting PE by post. I see it on sale in Bahrain sometimes.
I can live without it - and many of the other fripperies associated with Western "civilisation". |

What a bizarre tale... refusal to bury her for 30 years suggests a genetic trait of nuttiness in the family, which may have been triggered by life in Saudi and cause one to jump.

............she was murdered during a party where the alcohol was provided by someone with diplomatic immunity. The British "Establishment" closed ranks to protect their own.
She most certainly did not jump. |

Well, Uncle Scot, why did not the British investigators use DNA profiling techniques to catch the murderer (assuming that your story is true!).
There were several cases in UK where new DNA techniques have been used to solve some of the mysteries of crimes which happened in the 70s.
Probably the killer is already dead by now! |

Dear 007,
I suspect you've been watching too many CSI-type TV shows. How do you think "DNA profiling" could determine whether someone had jumped or been pushed?
Regards,

^ Depends on how she was murdered. If she was pushed off the balcony, no way to tell now (save for eyewitnesses, if any). But if she was strangled, hit, stabbed, etc, then that could be found now. but I guess the autopsy in the UK should have revealed that. However, did they check for foreign DNA on her body in the UK and check if the pattern indicated any struggle?
BTW scot, where are you getting your info from? And this person with immunity, where was he from? |
