hello again.
i guess i am cruious to see if anyone else wants to celebrate Thanksgiving in Japan?
i always find western holidays while living overseas to be super-depressing if no one else is around.
= (
anybody want to invite a lonely soul for Thanksgiving dinner in Japan?
i can cook or contribute food as well!
cheers,

I'm not American, so won't be doing Thanksgiving sorry, but shouldn't you let people know which part of Japan you are in? Or are you saying you are willing to travel to the other end of the country for turkey and pumpkin pie? |

I see from your other post that you are in Ibaraki. Maybe if all else fails you should look at travelling down to Tokyo and joining the party at one of the restaurants that holds Thanksgiving dinner? |

oops sorry i forgot to say i live in Ibaraki prefecture, but i usually travel to Tokyo on the weekends...
i am still new to Japan [moved here last March] so i have not met a lot of people yet. i was not even aware that some restaurants in Tokyo held parties for Thanksgiving dinner?
is this true or just mere rumor?
i would greatly enjoy great food and good company if there is any to be had...
ooh! turkey dinner and pumpkin sound delicious right now! |
