Hi,

I'm heading back to the UK for a couple of months and, as a favour to my school, said I'd look for my replacement.

The school's a Vietnamese private school in D.10.

If interested, please send a message to 09080 15792 and I'll call you back ASAP. Or you can PM me.

Thanks for looking.

You note this position is "permanent."

Serious question: this job will exist for, 10+ years? Or more?

Does this high school assist in getting the work permit?

If so, I'm interested in meeting with them.

For those of us on a 3-month visas/extensions, there is no permanence.

Nexus, it's permanent insofar as you'd be signing a year's contract with them, which would be renewable at its end. Is anything really permanent anyway? After all, life itself is just a temporary state.

Not so sure about the work permit. They wouldn't do all the leg work for you, but I think, as you said, they would "assist", providing the necessary documents and evidence so you could get it yourself. But... the position is only part-time/afternoons only. I'm not sure if only full-time time employers are eligible to sponsor work permits. The position could become full-time in the future, though. There's only one other foreign teacher working in the school, and if he left, it'd be more than likely that you'd be offered his morning hours.
