				| Seek, and ye shall find. Google ESL games and activities and you'll find most if not all the help you need. My favorites for this age group:
I Spy (do it for places outside the classroom, too). I spy with my little eye something at the Beijing Olympics.

 Mime/Action games.

Tic-Tac-Toe (divide the class into two teams and use it for anything including grammar/vocabulary review)

 Bingo

Truth or Dare. Truth: Which girl in the class do you like? Dare: I dare you to ask her out for a date. The more outrageous the better, but don't go too far.

And don't forget the classic, 20 Questions.

				| if you know how to download stuff via torrents you can find plenty of esl books there as well, including some with games and other activities. | |

				| Here's a great game for vocab review:
 Landmines (or Bombs)

On a separate piece of paper make a 4X4 grid or a 3X3 grid or whatever's good for you. In all but 4 of the squares (or 3) write the vocab words you want to review. In the other 4 (3) squares have the land mines.

Depending on the difficulty of the word, give it a point value. I use dollar values.

Break the class up into teams of whatever. Draw on the board the grid without the words inside. Delineate the horizontal and vertical axes by making one letters and the other numbers.

Students will call out a square 'A-4' then teacher gives students a definition, hint, or synonym for the word inside. Students guess the word and win the money or points.

If group one can't get it, pass it on to group 2, group 3, etc...

If team chooses a square where there's a bomb, they lose all their money.

As a bonus you can give extra money for groups who can spell the word correctly.

If there's a tie at the end you can make a super bonus word worth however much you want and break the tie with a speed or writing competition (a la Final Jeopardy).

I do this to kill ten minutes in classes when things are lagging. You can use it to hit target phrases as well.
