Hello all. Like many, I'm sure, I have a pipe dream that I hope can become reality. There are many reasons why I want to teach abroad, and some are mutually exclusive. But one of them is my dream to live in a "tropical paradise". I love the ocean, with clear, blue water and warm wheather. I know that many places in Latin America fit this description, but I was hoping for some more specific input from you all. The problem I assume is that where such places exist, there is an over abundence of teachers who want to live there, or it is too expensive. I am new to all this, so don't really know what I am talking about. I would appreciate some suggestions as to where I could teach specifically. Thx. |

We do our CELTA certification courses in a tropical paradise! Literally right on the beach. The coast in Ecuador from Santa Elena right up to Esmeraldas is spectacular. Check out places like Muisnes, Bahia Caraques, Los Frailes, Canoa, Same . . . doesn't get much better. And then of course there are the Galapagos! |
