Make sure your pug has had all his vaccinations and has cards and documents from the vet. Omanis aren't so snotty about dogs as the Qataris are. A lof of the jebalis have guard dogs and so do the bedu. They don't see them as pets (although that's changing with young kids and pet shops with cute puppies in cages) but they don't like to get too close to them unless they are salukis or other desert type dogs.
If your pug is a yapper, make sure you try to soundproof your place with carpets and hangings on the wall. I had a saluki as a pet for a while until he ran away. Really missed him but I suppose it was the call of the wild. |
