I'm in Taiwan right now.

I don't really want to get into my reasons for wanting to leave Taiwan and teach in China, but I'm just wondering, will the fact that I have a Taiwanese work visa in my passport make getting a visa (in particular a Z visa) for China more difficult?

I'm just wondering if the huge political problems between China and Taiwan will create an "issue" for an American who has worked in one wanting to work in the other.

Yeah, I agree, that didn't make a whole lot of logical sense...
