When I return to China on January 6th, I will still have two months valid on my Z-Visa. I am still unsure where I want to go, or what kind of job I want to get next, so I was thinking of going up to Weihai (Shandong) and staying with my friend for a month or two while I contemplated my next step. The city is apparently crawling with Koreans. From what I've heard, Koreans are always looking for tutors for themselves or their children and pay pretty well for it in China. It doesn't appear that there are a lot of English schools in the city, so I would assume that getting a couple private lessons a day for my baijiu money wouldn't be too hard. Opinions? |

Make sure they pay you up front.
I knew a Canadian in Shandong who tutored a Korean family for a month and they stiffed him out of 4,000 RMB when they left.
Not saying all Koreans woulddo that, just make sure it's an upfront payment. |
