I am most likely turning down a good offer in Saudi due to the ridiculous med test requirements, one of which, among other things, is that I must first have several med tests done here in Korea, and then submit that for the permission to even FLY to Saudi, and then, for some inexplicable reason such as perhaps the Saudis don;t trust Korean med tests' validity, I must then re-do ALL of those tests in Saudi, plus other tests NOT done in Korea. Add ocular/retinal/iris scans to this situation, and I say NO THANK YOU.
What about Turkey? What are teh required med tests there in order to obtain a work permit upon receiving an offer? |

I had a chest x-ray too, a few years ago, and the machine was formidable - looked like an industrial device, and was huge. We were however assured that it would not actually be switched on during the process.
For the other part of the medical exam we assembled in a doctor's surgery, and he shouted out, 'Does anyone feel ill?' Someone answered, 'I've got a bit of a cold'. |

well that is the welcoming thing now, isn't it. Thank God. But that Soviet-style monstrosity of an X-ray machine sounds a bit scary. So are they still requiring that Zapper? |

Did he put it in writing? |
