| $700 for a border run? My girlfriend and I went to Amsterdam for a week for a nice vacation and that's exactly what I spent including lodging (hostel), flight, transportation, tons of museums, plenty of eating out, nice cheeses, and lots of Belgian beer. So I'm guessing a border run doesn't have to cost $700. In fact, you could get a residence permit within your first three months in the country without any problems so you wouldn't need to make any border runs, just pay what you need for the residence permit - I'm pretty sure that it's less than $700 for a whole year. |
