Is anyone working in Al Jouf with Edex? I was told that the accomodation was on a westerner compound and it was actually quite decent, is this true? How do you find the city generally?
Also, a more general question:
Is living on a westerner compound definitely better than living in private apartments? Do the apartments have any security?
Please pm me.
Thanks,

Having read some of the threads about these people, I suspect that you will not be given any choice. Jouf is not a place where you will find a lot of "Westerners" or a lot of "Western compounds". |

Would you say any Edex or Al Khaleej job is best avoided?
Am I able to get a Saudi Employment visa with the qualifications I have? I'm a native-speaker, have an MA in English and History (but its an undergrad one) and around 4 years verifiable experience (I have more in reality but some dodgy employers I have worked for would never give me a reference).
If I want to work in Saudi is a government visit visa my only choice with what I've got? Also, do direct hires universities pay for your medical exam/visa expenses/plane ticket?
Thanks, |

Don't worry; EDEX will take anyone and anything. If you can walk and talk, you're in work. |
