Erm ok GreenAcres, but I don't necessarily why sarcasm is warranted, I was trying to explain what happened to me to help the guy.

I posted a question about this organization a while back and never saw any response.

I am interested in ILA too and I have a real MA in TESOL (2 year degree, not done online). They responded to my inquiry by telling me that I am very qualified but that they had an overwhelming response to their job advertisement for the position I wanted-- so I'm going to reapply in the spring, as they suggested.

So my question now is, if I am offered a position with them some time in the future, is it going to be a "step down" for me? I currently do teacher training now and my job is pretty amazing, but I'd like to teach exam prep. However, I don't want to give up what I have now for something less substantial.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

You're overqualified for this type of language school, and they likely (rightly) assumed it would be a step down from your perspective- leading to potential problems were they to hire you.
