Does anyone know of schools offering Mandarin Chinese in Muscat or Nizwa? There's no information online, but there must be some people who need to do business with China. |

Duffy! Don't be rude!
I haven't heard of any classes, but I will try to ask around. |

Dear Duffy,
Better be careful - next thing you know, if they want to learn English, they'll go to England (and take your job with them.)

I suppose I should clarify....
I'm trying to locate Mandarin classes for my wife, not to study but to teach. She's a certified teacher of the subject.
Daja zai dong le ma? (Does everyone understand now?) |

Try the Chinese embassy. Maybe the staff needs teachers for their children or the embassy may have some leads?
A great contact at any rate....you may just get invited to a few 'events' on Embassy Row and get your pic in 'The week'.

Thanks, jdl. She's from Taiwan-- I don't know how that would affect the attitude of the Chinese embassy... but it'll be interesting to see. |
