Before I went to Korea I had read and posted on the Korea boards. I was in for a shock when I found out Korea was 10...20...30 times better than everyone had made it out to be.
Be aware that happy teachers in Korea don't spend much time posting on the boards. It's not a very fair representation. I loved Korea. |

Hello Ulyanov, i do not have much information to offer you, rather I am in a very similar boat as you. I am from Halifax and I am graduating this spring from university as well. I'm not sure where i want to go to teach english yet, but I am hoping to leave around Nov.. I was just wondering where you are taking your ESL course and how much it costs? |
Hi Beaner! I'm a Cape Bretoner and couldn't help butting my nose in here. Since you are in Hfx, I would recommend the St. Mary's TESL 100 (I took it last year). It costs $685. Check out this site for more info: http://www.stmarys.ca/academic/tesl/tesl/
Good luck! |

Do not click on the above link by Capergirl. I'm sure it's another evil plan. It will take you to some weird site and you will be stuck there for weeks

Hey, hey, hey! Just 'cause you can't beat the games, don't be like that, dmb!
It's a good link. If Beaner is from Hfx, (s)he is already familiar with SMU. |

Hey, my computer wasn't working for a while. Yeah, I'm doing the St. Mary's course this July, it's $685 or so. |
