Found this job on another site and sent of the basic request for info with resume attached, got a response back with an application form to fill out. It's a recruiter in Dubai, so I'm wondering if anyone has worked with the program/school.
Thanks for any info/help you all can give me.
Samantha

Watch out!! This looks distinctly like a scam. There are tons of scams for supposed recruiters who are supposedly in Dubai. There is no website for a hassanmustafa.com (except for some footballer)
Do not send any money!! No one employed in education pays anything before they arrive to anyone... certainly not for a visa.
These scammers use real jobs and schools to get you to send them money. You never come close to getting any jobs. The programs exists, but I would NOT apply through this place. Their ad is an unprofessional mishmash... Also, do not send originals of anything and I wouldn't send any passport information either.

I wasn't sure, I had a funny feeling about it since it did seem a little bit of a mish mash, but I wasn't sure if that was because it was sketchy or because the writer is probably an L2 or L3 writer. The application form doesn't ask for any passport/personal id numbers and I'd never send a recuriter/job money just from being in Korea for the last 3 years that would send up a big red flag.
So what do you recommend bid him a thanks but no thanks, or proceed cautiously?

Proceed cautiously? It's really up to you. As long as your guard is up and you know what to watch out for.
Teachaway is a more trustworthy recruiter for the schools in the Emirates. You might want to look at them and see if your credentials fit their requirements.

Same story here with that recruiter. I haven't heard back from him considering that I asked him for more information. Nevertheless, I am assuming that this could be red-flagged! |

I just got an application form, a very unprofessional looking one, asking for basic information. It was weird to notice that the form had the official coat of arms of the UAE on the letter-head and no names of any company, agency or school. It was this form that prompted me to wonder if this was even a real job.
Any more information, thoughts welcome. Thanks |

That's the same thing I got, yeah the coat of arms was strange...I wasn't sure if that part was even legit. I'm thinking I'm going to give it a pass. No one seems to have heard of it, so there's no good or bad news in that respect...but still it feels a little shady. |

I am very sketchy even about replying to that e-mail with my personal information, just to see where it goes. It looked dubious right from the start - no website, no school information, non-Googleable, etc. I am not taking this up. I think this should also be red-flagged.
If anyone here has heard of that name, worked for any of the schools mentioned, please do let us know.
Thanks |
