I'm also part of the MBTI nerd crew. I went around polling a bunch of my friends about their types, eager to know if it matches up with their MBTI descriptions. I believe in the MBTI and how accurate it is if ppl are honest with themselves.
I myself am an INTJ. One problem with my type is that I have high standards not just for myself, but for everyone else. This can possibly be a problem as an ESL teacher. I just need to remind myself not everyone learns at the same pace and I need to be patient and caring enough to persist. |

Do you also have high standards for happiness as well ? As to having high standards for my happiness, don't worry, be happy . |

I'm a Jekyll/Hyde: an introvert outside the classroom, an extrovert inside it.
I think this is also true of some actors - introverts off-screen, extroverts on-screen.

I am usually an introvert except when I go out to a club. One reason that I enjoy going out sometimes. |

Not to mention that some students just do not care. They are forced to study English, thus some students are very lazy. |

Dear jdl,
Criminy - I'm a "Special Dark" guy:
S: Special Dark
"S-preferer("Special Dark") personalities tend toward the extremes of sensation. S-preferer personalities are attracted to marginalized subcultures and have a disregard for societal norms. A high S preference is correllated with sadomasochism, necrophilia, sexual vampirism, and other "dark" paraphilias. Conversely, strong S-rejection (and thus rejection of marginalized subcultures) correllates with a high risk of becoming a Greenpeace member or, in extreme cases, a television evangelist."
Well, I'd rather be a "sexual vampire" than a "TV evangelist" any day (though I draw the line at necrophilia - it's a dead-end relationship.)
Regards,
John |

Dear jdl,
Son, you'd BETTER have a damn good sense of humor when you get old; otherwise, don't bother.
Regards,
John
P.S. Hmm, it that respect, old age is remarkably like Saudi Arabia. |
