Can anyone tell me who writes the letter on invitation: the school or local PSB? Does it have to be on a special form or say something specific to get an L Visa switched to a Z Visa in Hong Kong.

Need advice quickly, I would like to run and get the Z visa before Spring Festival break.

Thanks!

For a work visa, it comes from the school.
Should have the stamp.
They should know how to take care of this. There is a standard
format, but the manager should know all about this.
If I remember correctly, I got mine faxed to me.

My father came to visit me and I just wrote him one in an
email and he printed it out (but that was for a tourist visa)

The letter of invitation MUST be the original to obtain a Z visa. I found out the hard way. More accurately, the school found out the hard way, but I did have to go to Hong Kong twice.
