Dear all,

I recently found a post for this school and have sent in a CV. I just wanted to know if anyone has ever worked for them that can share their experiences.

Many thanks.

I've not heard anything about the school but I do like Leon a lot. It's one of Mexico's ugly but intriguing cities. I could definitely live there. Not a tefl hotspot either, which I think is a good thing. And of course the beautiful Guanajuato is just half an hour away.

The job has already been taken now but thanks for the answer. I've only been to Leon once before and what I saw could not really be described as pretty but it did seems an interesting place.

Yes, the economy is slightly different there. They don't rely so heavily on knowing English to get a good job so demand is low. It's not like other cities in Mexico that have a school on every corner, thank god. I think your best bet to work there would be university work but you'd really have to be there and go door-to-door. Very nice year round climate too.
