My boyfriend and I are hoping to teach in China in the very near future. We both have bachelor's degrees and he has previous teaching experience in Seoul, Korea. Does anyone know of any schools who take two teachers at a time??? I am having a hard time finding any...

If you cannot find a position for both of you, you can always go along and teach privates. You must make sure that the living quarters you have will allow you to also stay there as some places will not allow this.
Also if you tag along you would be required to do a visa run or find some employment later granting you the 1-year work Z visa.
You can earn much more money doing privates than most of the standard job pay scales if you position yourself correctly.
This is an idea, I've seen others do this until they found a school that needs a husband/wife team.
Beijing Agriculture university has recruited husband and wife teaching teams before, you might want to look at them. |

My wife and I have taught at several colleges in China and will do so again. A z visa is issued for both, even if one does not have the full degree requirement=both have work visa!
If your not married their may be a problem... |

Don't trust this company...one of the worst recruiters working in China today and anyone who is pushing this company online, saying how great it is and that you should try it out is quite simply on their payroll. DON'T TRUST THEM! |

Sorry, mate, never used a recruiter and never will...I can get a job by myself, thanks very much. Don't take my word for it...search this forum for opinions about Angelina's and see for yourself. |

You could just tell them you are married. It probably would not even occur to the FAO that he is sending invitation letters out to a couple that have different last names. |

Yeah that's true...I don't see what the difference is if we are married or not...as long as we both qualify for two job openings. I am going to try that website and see if they are unclear about anything or are in fact snakes. Thank you so much for all the help. I wasn't expecting any responses to this thread! |
