And do they give accomodations? What kind and can you get a place for a husband AND wife? And will the CELTA then qualify me for uni positions? I have a BA English and 2 years Korea teaching experience. Also a Masters in International Business, and I speak Spanish, Italian and German fluently.

CELTA costs about $1500-$1600 (depending on the exchange rate). I think ITI's is 950 british pounds - it's only for the course. There aren't any meals or accommodations or anything like that, and no help with placement.

If you had a CELTA plus your other qualifications your resume would look fine to be considered for university positions, I'm pretty sure.

The cost of the celta is a cheap price to pay for the illegal low paid crappy job you will get when you finish.

Uni positions will not give a toss about your presentation. Accepting poor pay and conditions is what they are interested in.

Doner has it right, I know all about that low pay uni thing. Seems studymylesson isn't feeling too chipper about his paycheck here, drank a bit of something, and shot his load on this forum for good measure.

Now take a word of advice from me, an American, as you say: when you confront someone you know not with "did you buy your degree on the Internet?", it is certainly insulting, and atleast bordering on hostile. If you've got the altruism to advise me about "presentation" (which I SO SO SO appreciate and cherish), you DON'T have the gift of self-awareness, which would tip you off on your boorishness BEFORE you reveal it on a public forum.

I tend to put it this way: I always enjoy pointing out to a-holes like studymylesson just how wrong they are. It's an absolute obligation for any intelligent person. "Getting your knickers in a right old twist" is a cutesy little quip used by people who, rather than face the concrete issues of something, try to disguise what really happened in what they hope will be a distracting and even entertaining idea. You Brits are the experts at that quite transparent and sophomoric strategy, aren't you? Thing is, I'll kick your asses without fail on any nonsense you want to toss this way, or even that.
