Hi everyone,

Okay so heres the situation:
I have a Trinity TESOL certificate but no degree. I'm looking to teach for about 6-8 months in China before I start uni at the end of this year.

The advice I need - As I don't have a degree, what are the most relaxed provinces? I've read through a lot of posts about this, and as we all know with China it depends, but very few posts actually specify which are the most tolerable areas?

As I have no degree, roughly what kind is salary should I put as a benchmark? Baring in mind I have a Trinity TESOL.

Also if you can recommend any schools that would be incredibly helpful!

Thanks everyone Smile

i'd say it depends on the school (not the province or area) and how motivated they are to get you the documents for a work visa. but since you only plan on sticking around for 6-8 months, it'll be harder to find a place that will do that. contracts are usually one year.

I know contracts are usually a year, but I've also seen a substantial amount of 6 and 8 month contracts.

Again what I'm really looking for here is specific advice, what schools should I look into? Any particular good franchises, or schools within a franchise?

TEFL school reviews seem to be mainly focused on negatives aspects. I'm finding it hard to find any data on good schools to look into, unless you/anyone has any good links?

Thanks
