|
|
I've been looking into moving my TEFL career to Libya, and would prefer to work in Tripoli. I've got the impression on this board that Libya is a pretty conservative place all round, and I'm just wondering if there's much potential for a social life in Tripoli. I'm not talking nightclubs or all-night parties, that's not my scene. But are there many expats, much camaraderie between the teachers, etc? Also, I'm single. Is it at all possible to date people out there, particularly fellow westerners? Or do you have to live like a monk?
Thanks |

I am in Tripoli, working for Bell and am interested in organising a get together of Native English teachers from different schools.
Maybe a meal in a restuarant one evening or even a day on the beach at the Tourist Village in Janzoor!
If anyone is interested please add your comments or feel free to PM me.
