I did a forum search and no one seems to have posted about this school. Does anyone know anything about it? It's been blowing up Craigslist with ads, so I'm beginning to wonder...

I've been wondering the same thing. It recently listed a need for Russian and Spanish teachers as well. Did a bunch of people just up and leave? Someone please send the 411....

Yeah...it's weird because I gather it's been around for awhile, so it's not like they are starting a whole new school. Maybe it's a new branch?

I'm just surprised that no one's heard anything.

I know the marketing manager/teacher recruiter very well. We were "friends" for about one year. He's a total sleaze bag.

He talked me into teaching his cousin English at a discounted rate of 7 lira an hour. After 130 hours of lessons, he stole 1,000 lira from me. He also openly bragged about stealing from people, is a former drug addict, and works third shift as the over-night desk clerk at a sleazy motel where he steals money from customers by overcharging their credit cards.

The school may be on the up-and-up but beware of any sweet talk from their recruiter. I won't name names here, but his name and phone number are advertised at Craig's List. Beware.
