I was in Oaxaca City a few months ago. I applied at several schools and was offered work by nearly all of them. I had two years' teaching experience, but many people teach there with little or no experience.

If you are seriously thinking of going to Oaxaca to teach and would like some information I can tell you basic info for Cambridge, Amigos Del Sol, Universidad Vasconcelos, URSE, Harmon Hall, and UABJ (not sure if i got the acronym right on that last one!)

I also have experience living in Oaxaca city, renting, buying groceries, etc. and aside from that I drove from California to the Oaxacan coast on my own and can provide driving and camping advice too.

I'm back in the USA now and ready to "give back" to the internet communities that have helped me in the past. So if you are in the midst of researching and have specific questions about the stuff i have mentioned, please send me a PM.
