I'm going to be graduating in June with a Bachelor's degree in English from a University in California, I am an English tutor at my University and frequently tutor foreign students, I will be getting my TEFL Certification in October and hope to land a job by the beginning of 2011 in Korea.
Is there anything I should be doing in the meantime to prepare? Also, I have talked to a few people who recommend recruiters, and others say recruiters are not necessary because Korea is a relatively easy country to land a good job. Is a recruiter necessary? I am very anxious and hate the feeling of not doing anything to further prepare myself for such a drastic change in my life, so any advice, opinions, or input is highly appreciated.
Lastly, I know this is a newbie/Korean question, but I like to receive info from all the fantastic participants in the newbie forums I will be posting my future posts in the Korean forums, so save your breathe
Thank You Much Kindly! |

There's a separate Korean board, with separate registation. Go there. Ther'es HEAPS and heaps of info.
Paperwork will be an issue, so go to the Korean board and start reading up on it. Becuase technically speaking, we can't discuss Korea on this forum. This thread will probably get locked soon as well |
